If your student has not been registered for bus services by the deadline, they will be routed once their online registration has been submitted and received by Durham. It may take up to five (5) to ten (10) business days to complete the routing process. Route information is scheduled to be available in HAC (Home Access Center) beginning August 1, 2023.

If you have moved, it is your responsibility to contact your campus so the information can be updated in the system.

Bus Eligibility

Transportation is available for children who reside two or more miles from their assigned campus of regular attendance, measured along the shortest route that may be traveled on public roads. The distance a student lives from their assigned school is determined by measuring the distance from the school to the curb in front of their home.

Potential Hazard Routes

91͵ÅÄ analyzes potential hazardous routes each year and they are determined by criteria such as major thoroughfares and sidewalk or pedestrian access to the school, and other safety factors.
