91͵ to Host Low Cost ZAPS Test Preparation Seminars in January and February

McKinney, Texas — In an effort to provide students with comparatively low cost opportunities to better prepare for the SAT and ACT college entrance exams, 91͵ will host a ZAPS SAT one-day test preparation seminar on Jan. 8 and a ZAPS ACT preparation seminar on February 19.

Presented by Doorway to College, both seminars offer professional test preparation for $59—a cost that has been discounted by ZAPS and is substantially lower than some of the other test prep offerings available on the market.

“91͵ is proud to continually offer SAT and ACT preparation to open up opportunities for students,” said Marita Cleaver, 91͵ coordinator of advanced academics and LOTE. “Our focus is on student success, and we strive vigorously toward that goal each day. College choice, affordability and access to exciting careers is what makes our country the best place to live and have a fulfilling career. To support our students, we offer these courses at an affordable rate and have scholarships for eligible students available, so that every child has the chance to an open door to any college of their choice.”

In the five-hour SAT or ACT seminar, students will:
—learn tips to improve in all subtests
—practice strategies to eliminate wrong choices
—take short practice tests that mirror the test experience
—reduce test anxiety and gain confidence
—receive extensive materials for home practice
—and much more!

Students should bring two pencils and a calculator to the seminar.

Full-day seminars include a 30 to 45 minute lunch break; students are responsible for their own lunches.
