91͵ÅÄ Lowers Tax Rate Another 6.3 Cents
At their August meeting on Tuesday night, the 91͵ÅÄ Board of Trustees approved a 6.3 cent property tax rate decrease for 2022–2023. This tax rate decrease follows last year’s drop of 9.8 cents for a combined tax rate decrease of 16.1 cents over the course of 2 years and 35.7 cents over the last 7 years.
MHS Marine Corps JROTC Cadets Earn Top Honors at Summer Leadership Camp
For five days in June, 18 cadets of the McKinney High School Marine Corps JROTC program left behind the comforts of home and the leisure of summer to join U.S. Marines and more than 100 other cadets from area schools at the annual Summer Leadership Camp in Azle, Texas. While there, the cadets from McKinney made their mark, winning top honors throughout the week.
