Times are as follows: McKinney Boyd High School at 9 a.m.; McKinney High School at 1 p.m.; McKinney North High School at 5:30 p.m. Live streaming video of the graduations will be available at www.mckinneyisd.net/graduation/.

Important Gifted and Talented Dates
Elementary Testing Window (Grades K-5th)
1st and 2nd Grade Referral Window is now open until Sept 28th, 2023
Due to the high number of students being evaluated, referrals will not be accepted after the deadline.
Parents and guardians will receive a testing flyer via the US Mail with their student’s date and time.
1st and 2nd Grade Testing will be October 28th, November 4th, and December 9th.
3rd through 5th Grade Referral Window is now open until January 18th, 2024

3rd through 5th Grade Testing will be February 24th, March 2nd, March 23rd, and April 6th.
Secondary Testing Window (Grades 6-12th)
August 9th – October 9th: GT Nomination/Referral Window Open
October 23rd – November 17th: GT Testing Window
Please note: Students must bring MacBooks & Earphones for testing
December 2023 – January 2024: Parents/Guardians notified of the decision via USPS mail
January 10th – February 10th: GT Nomination/Referral Window Open
February 20th – April 1st : GT Testing Window
Please note: Students must bring MacBooks & Earphones for testing
April 15th – May 15th: Parents/Guardians will be notified via mail of the GT Committee’s decision
