From colorful crafts to fascinating ocean exploration, 91͵ Summer Enrichment Camps have something for everyone.
91͵ is offering weekly Summer Enrichment Camps this year, conducted by 91͵ teachers for children in kindergarten through 5th grade.
Students will absolutely love the fun, creative activities that 91͵ teachers have created for them. Each camp will provide a safe camp experience, full of amazing summertime memories.
Camps begin on June 6 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday – Friday. You do not have to be a resident of McKinney or a student in 91͵ to attend camps. Camps are $105 per camp/per student. Register now to reserve your child’s spot.

On Thursday, April 7, 91͵ officials, campus administrators, teachers, family and guests gathered at the 91͵ Community Event Center to honor the 2021–2022 91͵ Campus Teachers of the Year and, from among them, to name the 91͵ Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so the 91͵ Guidance and Counseling Department’s P.O.W.E.R. Parenting program is launching an online, self-guided course called Keep Talking: Mental Health Awareness for Parents. The course provides an opportunity to learn about common mental health conditions, resources for assistance and wellness practices that will support families.
In the far-flung reaches of the northern Collin County countryside, the 91͵ “Battle of the Blues” Physics Olympics made its highly anticipated return on Tuesday, March 29, after a 2-year hiatus. At stake was another year’s worth of bragging rights with 19 teams from McKinney Boyd High School, McKinney High School and McKinney North High School vying for physics glory.
In February, nine 4th and 5th grade 91͵ students qualified for the MathCon National Finals in Chicago, which took place this past weekend. Five of the 91͵ qualifiers attended, and Cache Langton from Valley Creek earned an Honorable Mention!

MathCon is a national online math test that features 38 math questions to be completed within 45 minutes. The highest scorers are invited to the National Finals.

91͵ has partnered with the Society of Plastics Engineers and Manner Polymers to pilot a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Club at Faubion Middle School that will be the first ever cohort of its kind in the state of Texas.
Three 91͵ Gifted and Talented 4th and 5th-grade teams—competing among 200 other groups—swept the podium in the Dallas Regional competition of the Stock Market Game. Those three teams also finished 7th, 9th, and 17th in the state, respectively, from among 1,350 other teams, across all competition grade levels.
